Kamloops Airport

Kamloops Airport plays an important role in the Province’s transportation network, serving the citizens of Kamloops and the region. Our priority is ensuring that health and safety protocols are in place for those traveling for essential reasons. These safety protocols include:

  • Recommended face coverings in the public areas of the Air Terminal Building
  • Increased cleaning and sanitation throughout the terminal
  • Plexiglass barriers
  • Additional hand sanitizer stations
  • Health status verification prior to boarding
  • Touchless technologies in the terminal and parking areas

Air Terminal Building

The Kamloops Airport Terminal building is open for all departing and arriving flights.

Masks Requirements

It is recommended that all air travelers, employees and airport visitors are wear a non-medical mask or face covering that covers your mouth and nose during travel through Canadian airports. Masks are required at the screening checkpoint, during the boarding process, in flight and while deplaning unless a person has a medical certificate.

Vaccination Requirements

As of June 20, 2022, vaccination will no longer be required to board a plane or train for travel within Canada.

Covid Testing Kamloops

Okanagan Testing Clinic provides COVID-19 PCR and antigen tests to the public through their pharmacy partners Pratt’s and Pharmasave Aberdeen.
