Passenger numbers for Q3 reflect a slower than anticipated recovery from the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is due in large part to sustained industry challenges associated with flight crew availability to serve the regional markets, along with the reduction in service to the Calgary market.
With the introduction of Pacific Coastal’ Airline’s daily service Victoria October 17th, WestJet Link’s twice daily service to Vancouver November 1st, and Air Canada’s reintroduction of the popular early morning departure to Vancouver, we expect Q4 performance to bring us closer to originally forecast passenger
levels.
During the upcoming holiday and winter travel season, passengers are encouraged to explore the many convenient connections to popular sun destinations available from Kamloops. Kamloops Airport Ltd. (KAL) is a member of Vantage Airport Group.
