Kamloops Airport announces the traveler numbers for Q1 of 2024, as compared to the same period from the previous year.

Passenger numbers for the first quarter of 2024 reflect the continued recovery of the passenger traffic to pre-pandemic levels.  During the first quarter, there were significant increases in both inbound traffic to Sun Peaks and outbound travelers to sun destinations. 

Passenger traffic is currently 86.2% of pre-COVID record levels and we are encouraged to see that Pacific Coastal, WestJet and Air Canada are maintaining flight schedules to meet passenger demands as we head into the summer travel season.
