Kamloops Airport Draft Accessibility Progress Report

Following the November 2024 publication of the YKA Accessibility Program and Feedback Process, Kamloops Airport published a draft report of the progress towards accessibility goals outlined in the Accessibility Plan. This report can be found on the Accessibility page of the Kamloops Airport website, or by following this link.

Published on the YKA Website April 3rd, 2025, the report provides insight on what steps Kamloops Airport has or is taking towards accessibility in areas such as transportation, training, information and communication technologies. It also details the consultations that have taken place while developing and enacting goals and continued development of the plan itself. Consultations, invitations to provide feedback, and how these effected the Kamloops Airport Accessibility Plan are detailed in the latter portion of the report.

In an effort to continue gathering feedback, Kamloops Airport is invited all readers to provide feedback on the progress report. A survey, which could be reached through the accessibility page of the YKA Website or by a link on this very news publication, was active from April 6th to April 30th, 2025. The survey results will be used to better all future reports issued by Kamloops Airport.
