Kamloops Airport Welcomes Return of WestJet’s Seasonal Service to Edmonton

Kamloops, B.C.; January 26, 2026

Kamloops Airport (YKA) is pleased to announce the return of WestJet’s seasonal nonstop service to Edmonton, reinforcing vital regional connectivity and expanding travel opportunities for residents of Kamloops and surrounding region. The Edmonton route provides convenient access for visiting family and friends, supports business travel, and opens the door to popular atractions such as West Edmonton Mall and the broader Edmonton metropolitan area. The service also enhances onward connections, making travel more seamless for passengers heading to destinations across Canada.

WestJet Encore will operate the Kamloops–Edmonton route twice weekly beginning in mid-May, increasing to three flights per week during the peak summer travel season, before returning to twice-weekly service in September and October. This schedule is designed to support both leisure and business travel.
